Don't worry Miss Alice can take you on a wonderful 2.5 hour driving tour of Charleston in a comfortable, new 4 passenger SUV.  This is a fabulous way to see all of Charleson that walking tours cannot cover. She will pick you up from your downtown accommodations and return you when the tour is finished. You will see historic neighborhoods, churches, the College of Charleston, the Charleston Market and more. There is plenty of time built in the tour for a stop at The Battery where you can stretch your legs and take in the sea air. Here you will hear the story of how the Patriots defended the harbor of Charleston from the British on June 28 1776, forever known as Carolina Day. You will also look out over the harbor to see Fort Sumter where the first shot rang out on April 12, 1861 to start the Civil War. This is a tour you do not want to miss!
